A full service solution for cash registers and payments

OpenSolution Nordic AB provides comprehensive solutions for cash and payment systems. We deliver complete solutions and develop our own software. The company group is present in all Nordic countries, with offices in Gothenburg and Denmark. OpenSolution has grown to about 55 full times employees.

 

Companies included in the corporate group are OpenSolution Nordic AB, OpenSolution Norway AS, OpenSolution Denmark ApS, OS Payment Services AB, OS Group AB and Technical Payment Solutions Sweden AB. The holding company is OS Group AB and is established in Gothenburg, but we also have local offices in Stockholm, Jönköping and Copenhagen, in order to maintain a close relationship with our customers through local presence.

OpenSolution is a proud multi-award-winner of the credit rating AAA, for our responsible approach of handling obligations to the market. Despite extensive expansions within the group, we have been able to constantly delivering positive financial results which demonstrate our favorable performance.

The organization is controlled by a series of laws and regulations regarding payments. The most influential actor might be the Swedish Tax Agency and in specific the law regarding the Tax Procedure Act (2011:1244), which requires a high manufacturing standard of cash registers and control units. Additionally, the Credit Card companies and banks, have their own rules and regulations concerning the security of card transactions, encryption and the handling of card data, such as PCI and PA-DSS. OpenSolution hold all the certificates and permissions that are required from The Tax Agency, acquirers, industry associations and standard authorities, to run an organization that provide products and services to customers.

Our Technology

We lead development of innovative software within the payment industry. OpenSolution has established itself as a full-service supplier to a large number of leading actors on the Scandinavian market. The references includes arenas, transport companies, airlines, Guide Michelin restaurants, leading casino chains and many, many more. We offer a complete portfolio including: hardware, software, services, acquiring and support.

Our main business focus lies within the software development and sales of packaged solutions including cash register equipment, system integration, support, acquiring and technical services. With our own in-house software, we can customize solutions to our customers.

The business system OpenSolution Retail System is installed in several thousand different businesses all over Scandinavia. The software is developed in consultation with customers and is an innovation in the industry. We build all of our products on a single modern platform and provide full service solutions.

 

Our Organization

The expertise that we have within the group is our core competence and we bring in expert advisors in areas outside our core competences. Open Solution can be divided into, software, support, administration and sales. The software development and support is the  bulk of our organization. We are unique in the industry as we develop our software in-house and can therefore control the full range of activities within the value chain.

We have strong partners within logistics, service and finance / salaries which keeps the high level of expertise regardless of where our customers are geographically. It results in a high service level for our customers and we can grow dynamically.

Our Competence

Open Solution is unique in the market as we hold the entire value chain for payment processing. We also produce software in POS systems, central tools, reports and payment applications. This means that we can be at the forefront and challenge the industry. Our market reputation is to be very innovative.
